Climeworks is a company dedicated to fighting global warming by removing CO₂ from the air. They develop, build, and operate direct air capture (DAC) machines. They are looking for an electrical engineer to ensure the successful delivery of industrial-scale DAC plant projects. The engineer will be responsible for developing smart electrical system concepts, defining technical specifications, planning and executing electrical engineering, leading project teams, providing mentorship, and documenting work processes. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role, experience in leading projects, and deep knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of German is preferred. Experience in project management, operations, commissioning, and automation is a plus.
