The Biopharma Strategic Alliance Manager is responsible for optimizing key account relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and maximizing business opportunities. The role requires strong relationship management skills and familiarity with precision oncology and digital pathology in pharmaceutical research. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in biology and/or computer science, at least 4 years of experience in the Life Science, HealthTech, Pharma, Biotech, or Diagnostics industry, and previous experience with AI-based products/technologies is a plus.


  • Responsible for overall client satisfaction, anticipating and communicating issues and managing the relationship with existing key accounts.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the portfolio of projects and their contract agreements and continued monitoring to ensure compliance and execution of contractual obligations.
  • Lead planning and execution of appropriate face-to-face client meetings in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Working closely with Scientific Project Managers (SPMs) through management of the SOW generation process and taking the lead on negotiation of the same through to closure.
  • Establish governance structures such as communication plans, cross functional development groups and joint steering committees (JSC) for existing and incoming strategic alliances and/or partnerships.
  • In some cases, act as Secretary of JSCs including the point of internal and joint escalation processes; developing and providing recommendations for resolutions and reporting account health checks.
  • Develop, manage, and expand relationships with stakeholders of all levels in the client organizations maintaining a high cadence of contact.
  • Become an expert in the client’s pipeline and portfolio strategy to identify new growth areas and cultivate relationships with the goal of achieving preferred partner status with key accounts.
  • Travel approximately 20% of working time, domestically and internationally


  • Bachelor's degree in biology and/or computer science
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role in the Life Science, HealthTech, Pharma, Biotech or Diagnostics industry.
  • Previous experience with AI-based products/technologies is a plus
