The Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems IPMS is seeking a candidate to join their Data Communication & Computing business unit. The candidate will be responsible for researching and developing communication protocols and data coding schemes for Li-Fi networks. They will also be involved in the conceptual design and practical implementation of these methods, as well as the evaluation, documentation, and publication of research results. The ideal candidate should have a background in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or a related field. They should also have sound knowledge in the field of data communication or communications engineering. Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and the ability to think outside the box are desired qualities. Proficiency in both German and English is required for cooperation with national and international customers. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.
