The OSCE Support Program for Ukraine is seeking a Consultant on Democratic Control of Armed Forces in the area of gender equality. The consultant will be responsible for developing a handbook and leaflets on rights and social guarantees of military personnel and their family members during martial law. The consultant will also analyze current Ukrainian legislation, international legislation, and activities of various stakeholders in order to integrate a gender component into the handbook and leaflets. The duration of the assignment is 23 days and the consultant will work from home. The consultant should have a university degree in military, social/political sciences or a related field, at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in gender equality, and experience in cooperation with the security and defense sector of Ukraine. Knowledge of Ukrainian and English languages is required. The remuneration will be in accordance with the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine established consultancy rates.
