Intro

H-TEC SYSTEMS is seeking a Head of CCM to lead the development and industrialization of CCMs for PEM-electrolysis stacks. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in catalysts for electrochemical energy converters and experience in the area of electrolysis. They should also have strong leadership and communication skills.

Aufgaben

  • Lead, expand and advance a team to develop, evaluate and industrialize CCMs for PEM-electrolysis-stacks
  • Analysis and evaluation of novel membrane materials for electrolysis with simultaneous increase of performance and lifetime
  • Characterization, evaluation and qualification of CCMs for PEM-electrolysis stacks
  • Setting the Tes-Infrastructure for CCM technology in collaboration with the stack development teams
  • Development and expansion of cooperations with suppliers and external cooperation partners
  • Cross-site assurance and communication of work results and expertise
  • Evaluate and compare CCM production technologies
  • Elaboration of recycling strategies

Anforderungen

  • PhD in the field of catalysts for electrochemical energy converters should be considered
  • Masters' degree in chemistry/ chemical engineering, physical chemistry, materials science or comparable discipline
  • People- and project leadership experience
  • Knowledge of procurement, manufacturing processes and analytical methods for CCMs and their components
  • Implementation strenght and project experience in cooperation with external partners
  • Experience in the area of electrolysis, ideally PEM-electrolysis cells
  • Several years of professional experience in Research and Development
  • Self-dependent, systematic and structured working style, high degree of self-reliance and sense of responsibility
  • Strong communication skills, diplomatic skills and persuasiveness, to achieve challanging goals
