About the role
This position is assigned to our global Segment Support business unit for our Segment Projects within BayWa r.e. AG. The aim of this role is to support our Senior Group Procurement Coordinator in strengthening the wind procurement set-up and establishing a Strategic Procurement Team. This position is located in our company´s headoffice in Munich. 

• You manage, continuously update and improve our procurement tools for analysing global trends, demands, opportunities & risks to derive inputs for BayWa r.e.´s Global Wind Procurement Strategy
• As part of the international EPC-Network (EPC = Engineering, Procurement, Construction), you work with subsidiaries globally to understand their needs in terms of procurement analysis and  you develop state of the art visualization reports
• Together with procurement managers across the business, you contribute to enhancing best practice for wind turbine procurement
• You engage with colleagues and develop processes to facilitate data collection and improve data quality
• You follow up on market intelligence insights for the validation of internal procurement assumptions and for the development of appropriate action strategies
• You further develop the digital landscape of existing and new procurement tools for more efficiency and value creation

• You have a degree in a numerical subject such as Business Informatics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the field of data analytics
• Ideally you had first touching-points to Procurement and / or Supply Chain Management
• You have very strong MS Excel, SQL and PowerBI skills
• Good skills in Python and Power Query to further develop the procurement tools are a valuable plus
• You are a self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with a getting-things-done mindset, willing to provide support to all colleagues
• You are proactive and have a strong drive to improve tools and innovate procedures
• Your very structured way of working, your strong analytical skills and your good command of English complete your profile
