The Battery Engineer- Modelling and Simulations position at Circunomics is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating a circular battery economy. As the first IoT platform for reusing and recycling electric vehicle and energy storage batteries, Circunomics is committed to building circularity into every battery by creating digital lifecycle identities, running analytics, and enabling intelligent matching of used EV battery supply and second life energy storage requirements via their Circular Marketplace. The Battery Engineer will be responsible for planning, reviewing, and developing battery test protocols, coordinating with test laboratories to perform and monitor aging tests, managing and setting up CX Lab to test cells, configuring cyclers to age cells, managing data quality data, and more. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or PhD degree in physics, electrical engineering, a scientific field or equivalent practical experience, at least 3 years of professional experience working with Li-ion battery/energy systems, strong programming skills in Matlab, Simulink, and python, and experience with data analysis and modeling.
