    <p>The Business Developer Battery Storage EMEA (m/f/d) role at BayWa r.e. is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a leading global renewable energy developer, service provider, distributor, and energy solutions provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the setting up and expansion of the Battery Storage (BESS) businesses in EMEA, supporting the local teams, and gathering market intelligence. The role requires an academic degree in an economic or engineering discipline, a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience, and a strong passion for the relevant business field.     <h2>Aufgaben</h2>
    <ul>
      <li>Drive the setting up and expansion of Battery Storage (BESS) businesses in EMEA</li><li>Support in the structuring and the market strategy of the business</li><li>Gather market intelligence and monitor industry and regulatory trends</li><li>Empower colleagues through workshops and trainings regarding BESS market know-how</li><li>Orchestrate engineers, RnD, procurement and other functional roles within the BESS company environment</li><li>Build the bridge between EMEA Legal Entities and BESS expert team on corporate level</li>
    </ul>
    <h2>Anforderungen</h2>
    <ul>
      <li>Academic degree preferably in an economic or engineering discipline</li><li>Minimum 2-3 years working experience in the relevant business field or in the energy sector in general</li><li>Experience with EMEA energy market designs and regulations</li><li>Understanding of BESS technologies, applications, business models and operational strategies</li><li>Analytical and structured way of thinking and working with strong communication skills</li><li>Entrepreneurial and positive attitude with strong passion for the relevant business field</li><li>Experience in working with external advisers and international teams</li><li>Fluency in English, other languages like German, Spanish and/or French are a plus</li>
