E3G, an independent climate change think tank with a global outlook, is seeking a Communications Officer or Senior Communications Officer to join their team in Berlin. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of E3G's mission and profile-building activities, with a focus on Germany, Eastern Europe, and the EU. Key responsibilities include formulating and delivering strategic communications plans, establishing and maintaining relationships with journalists, coordinating content delivery and dissemination, and monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of communication activities. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of professional communications experience, excellent writing and editing skills in both German and English, and a record of communicating complex topics in creative ways to various audiences. This is a full-time position offered on a 12-month contract basis with a view to further extension, and the salary ranges from €33,000 to €49,000 dependent on experience.
