As a Data & ML Engineer with focus on Natural Language Understanding, you will work on difficult problems at the bleeding edge of technology. You will be involved in the whole process of machine learning model development with enhanced neural search functionality to make our “Environmental Intelligence Platform” smarter and more efficient. 

Build data systems and pipelines, prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling, build algorithms and prototypes and achieve better results with each new cycle. Post your result for the world to see and become a thought leader in one of the most exciting fields in machine learning. Help fellow team members with your experience, work closely with our Data Science Lead, and shape the product roadmap.

What you will do:

• Within your first weeks you will learn how product life cycle impact assessment works and how Carbmee functions at the deepest level

• After your onboarding in LCIA you learn our NLU prediction and semantic matching engine and work in our team to optimize it

• After the first few months you will be encouraged to explore new models and techniques, new algorithms and stacks to achieve the ultimate goal of perfect and complete automation

• Your team will work with you to embrace new NLP/NLU solutions and be tech leaders in a context where each week can be a scientific breakthrough

• Extensive experience with NLP/NLU building end-to-end systems based on machine learning / deep learning methods, including prototyping, modeling and deployment

• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques

• Knowledge of NLP based neural network architectures, such as Transformer Network, Siamese Network and LSTM (ex: BERT, GPT, USE e.c.t)

• You have worked with a wide variety of machine learning and data science tools, ex. HuggingFace, PyTorch, Keras, and TensorFlow

• You bring in experience with data annotation projects in a production setting, including writing annotation instructions, monitoring annotators, and ensuring consistency and inter-rater reliability

Carbmee is an Enterprise Software Company that offers an Environmental Intelligence System, enabling companies to reduce their carbon footprint by analyzing CO2 hotspots in your value chain. By linking emissions derived from materials, transactions, logistics and supplier data in real-time with globally recognized standards and methods, we calculate CO2 footprints at a supplier-specific level. This is the basis for subsequent reductions of CO2 emissions throughout the value chain.
