Toucan is looking for a highly experienced Commercial Director with a deep understanding of the voluntary carbon market (VCM) and international carbon trading. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Toucan's strategic agenda on carbon policy and carbon markets, building partnerships with relevant carbon market players, and conducting research and development into trends and needs in the VCM. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of bringing deals over the line, experience working cross-functionally with product teams, and a history as a start-up operator. Additionally, the candidate should have a good grasp of Web 3.0, crypto markets, stable-coins, and their treasury functions, as well as knowledge of co-benefits estimation and Digital MRV initiatives in the carbon markets.
