The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional and economic development of the interdisciplinary division, strategically developing the division in close coordination with the institute management, and ensuring efficient workflows and structures in the division. They will also be responsible for developing new topics and business areas, acquiring application-related research and development projects from industrial clients and public sponsors, and ensuring the scientific and economic exploitation of the division's project and research results. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in chemistry, process engineering, biomedical chemistry, biochemistry, physics, microsystems technology, chemical engineering or a comparable field of study, practical experience in a comparable position or environment, and enthusiasm for technical-economic topics.
