The Embedded Application Developer position at EcoG is an exciting opportunity for an experienced developer to contribute to a sustainable future by developing new features for EcoG's EV charging systems. The ideal candidate should have a degree in computer science or a similar field, over 3 years of experience in embedded application development, and experience in the e-mobility sector. The role involves working on the product development life cycle, designing and implementing automated testing, and continuously improving the code base.   • Develop new and exciting features for EcoG
  • Contribute to a sustainable future
  • Work on the application integration of modern EV charging systems
  • Develop modern features and robustness for the EV charging infrastructure
  • Responsible for the product development life cycle from requirements analysis, launch to in-field operation
  • Design, implement and automate testing within the development process
  • In charge of refactoring and continuously improving the code base of our core value product
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications
  • Integrate new components from our broad partner ecosystem into our application and continuously test it with the newest electric vehicles on the market


  • Engineering degree in computer science or similar field
  • Over 3 years of experience working as an embedded application developer (preferably Linux and microcontroller), ideally with experience in the e-mobility sector
  • Structured and well-driven and can take on initiatives to improve quality, performance and to drive the direction of the product
  • Understanding of IoT device management and message exchange systems
  • Well-versed with cross compiling and remote debugging, experienced with embedded Linux systems and ideally also real time operating systems (freeRTOS)
  • Proficient with C/C++
  • Experience with Rust or Golang is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and can work in agile and international environments
  • IT security experience is a big plus
