Intro

The Head of Quality position at NexWafe is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the establishment and implementation of a quality management system (QMS) with the objective of achieving ISO certification. As the Head of Quality, you will drive continuous improvement and digitalization while managing operational tasks and building a team for quality assurance. You will also nurture a culture of quality within NexWafe and report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will have a BSc or MSc degree in engineering or a related science discipline, 5 years of professional experience in the industry, and a track record in building up systems on a green field. Aufgaben

Build up a quality management system (QMS) for NexWafe according to ISO 9001, with the goal of certification within approximately 2 years.
Establish and implement the new quality system, including the policies, procedures and processes required. Review and integrate existing practices into the QMS across all our departments.
Drive continuous improvement, digitalization and maintenance of the QMS.
Manage operational tasks such as documentation, provision of templates, and hands-on execution of activities such as 8D, FMEA etc.
Be the owner of our internal quality KPIs.
Conduct internal audits and manage external audits, acting as a liaison to our partners.
Manage quality-related issues and own our complaint management processes, RMAs and defects.
Drive qualification of suppliers in close collaboration with the Supply Chain and Technology teams.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations for our industry.
Create and nurture a culture of quality within the NexWafe team by upskilling and training colleagues. Act as an internal advisor and go-to person for quality matters. Work closely with the management team.
Build up a team for quality assurance (QA, including quality control in production, defining ICQ, OQC etc.) – as we ramp into mass production.
Collaborate with external partners.

Anforderungen

BSc or MSc degree in engineering or a related science discipline
5 years of professional experience in the industry
Experience in semiconductors, silicon wafers, photovoltaics, electronic displays, or industrial coating systems is preferred
Track record in building up systems on a green field
Knowledge of quality standards like ISO, and proficiency in using tools like 8D, FMEA, SPC, RCA, and Lean Six Sigma
Project management skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative with a hands-on approach
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English and German is a plus
