Aignostics is a spin-off founded out of Europe's largest university hospital (Charité) and Berlin's Technical University, with offices in Berlin and Boston. Our vision is simple: We want to beat cancer by revolutionizing the analysis of tissue samples with machine learning.
As a HR Manager at Aignostics, you will help with the organic growth of the teams in Berlin and Boston, whilst boosting employee engagement and ensuring that regular people practices are delivered. You will interact with all levels of the organization providing subject matter expertise on all staffing, recruiting and development initiatives and practice.

Where your expertise is needed
- Partner with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures and laws
- Develop and implement HR Labor Law policies and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Support management in implementing policies to retain and develop top talent, also beyond the hiring process
- Collaborate with the external payroll provider and the finance department to process the monthly payroll, including maintaining employee information, reviewing earnings, processing payroll/financial reports
- Own and manage the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, scheduling, screening, and interviewing candidates across all business departments
- Deliver interview training and coaching to employees on hiring best practices
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another related field required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a generalist, ideally at a high-growth software/AI startup
- Effective communication skills in both German and English
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization including remote locations
- Experience partnering with and influencing hiring managers; strong follow-up skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Experience in considering Information Security criteria under ISO 27001 is a plus
