Employment: Part-Time, approx. 30h/week

Job Description:
You will be working in a small team of 2 painters, translating Olafur Eliasson’s ideas into paintings.
Tasks:
- Making color rows, tests and painting sketches
- Mixing and filling colors
- Producing oil or acrylic paintings in several layers according to a specification
- Cleaning tools and equipment
- Hanging and packing paintings
Skill Set:
- You have an art school level education in painting
- You have substantial knowledge and experience in oil and acrylic painting on canvas, in particular large-scale glazing techniques
- You are interested in dealing with the representation of light through colour
- You have basic skills in varnishing
- Good German or English language skills
About the Studio:The studio team consists of specialised technicians, architects, artists, art historians, cooks, and administrators. We work with Eliasson to experiment, develop, and install artworks, projects, and exhibitions as well as to communicate and contextualise his work. www.olafureliasson.net
