Intro

NexWafe is a renewable energy semiconductor manufacturing company based in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. They are currently seeking a Process Development Engineer Silicon Epitaxy (f/m/d) to join their team. As a Silicon Epitaxy Process Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and stabilizing the deposition processes carried out at the inline silicon epitaxy plant based on the principle of chemical vapor deposition. You will work closely with the Process and Plant Development group to optimize processes and process flows to improve the required quality, throughput, and uptime. The ideal candidate should have a hands-on mentality, a sense of responsibility, and a structured and transparent way of working. A Master's/Bachelor's degree in the field of physics, chemistry, natural or engineering sciences is required, along with good team and communication skills and fluency in German and English. This is a permanent position with an attractive salary and profit sharing for employees.

Aufgaben

  • Develop, test and stabilize the deposition process, in an inline silicon epitaxy system according to the principle of chemical vapor deposition
  • Optimize processes and process flows with your colleagues to improve the required quality, throughput and uptime
  • Work closely with the process and plant development staff
  • Coordinate and document your evaluations of various characterizations
  • Supervision of characterization plants and operators

Anforderungen

  • Desire to work in a dynamic and committed team of a “Start Up’“
  • A hands-on mentality combined with a sense of responsibility
  • A structured and transparent way of working to achieve the goals set by the company together with your team
  • You work on your tasks and problems independently
  • Academic education with a Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in the field of physics, chemistry, natural or engineering sciences
  • Work experience in industry would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in the field of chemical vapor deposition, epitaxy or hydrogen technology is an advantage
  • Good team and communication skills, confident communication in German and English
