The Project Coordinator for the Media Freedom Rapid Response (MFRR) will lead and coordinate the activities of the consortium on a daily basis, integrate and profile the mechanism, and drive its overall improvement. They will be responsible for controlling the delivery of outputs and outcomes according to the contract with the European Commission, leading and supporting the steering committee, adjusting and improving internal communication with all partners, and coordinating and contributing to reporting on the MFRR. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in economics, international relations, social science, development, or any other field related to the areas of work. They should also have experience with project coordination and management, managing personnel, quick decision making, and networking. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other languages such as German, Spanish, or French is welcome. The salary for this position will be oriented on the German public collective agreement (TV-L 12/1), which is 3780 EUR employee gross.
