Intro

The Project Manager Solar position at Statkraft is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a leading company in hydropower and renewable energy. As the largest generator of renewable energy in Europe, Statkraft is committed to becoming a leading developer of onshore wind and solar projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing several construction projects in a portfolio at various stages of construction, coordinating project teams, ensuring continuous planning and follow-up of cost, time, and quality, and implementing health, safety, and environmental requirements. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in engineering or natural sciences, extensive experience in managing renewable energy development projects, and strong technical understanding of renewable energy technology. This is a full-time position based in Germany, offering unlimited learning opportunities, flexible working solutions, and a work culture that puts emphasis on the individual.

Aufgaben

Manage several construction projects in a portfolio at various stages of construction to include organising, leading and ensuring effective management and administration of the Project.
Coordination of project team including external consultants, contractors and service providers.
Ensure continuous planning and follow up of cost, time and quality & reporting on projects status to senior management.
The implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and ensure HSE compliance including Project Health & safety monitoring, reporting & development; including managing planning & environmental permit conditions for the project.
Ensure internal communication, co-operation and co-ordination between the different staff members of the Project and with other parties with interface to the Project (Region, Country and Corporate).
Ensure efficient and regular project meetings and recording of minutes and agreed actions. This includes (but is not limited to) general internal project reporting, tracking of project spend & progress, tracking of project payments & variations and various project management documentation compilation and maintenance.

Anforderungen

University degree in engineering or natural sciences with documented extensive experience.
Work experience in managing renewable energy development projects/large scale infrastructure projects in particular the construction processes and environmental assessments of wind, solar, battery & other renewable energy projects.
Demonstrated experience of managing project budgets and schedules from early stage development to construction phase.
Strong technical understanding of renewable energy technology with experience in negotiating and understanding supply contracts with complex technical appendices
Strong communication, relationship building and good management and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills in English and German
