ChargeX is developing a whole new approach to electric vehicle charging. We are passionate team of engineers and entrepreneurs. Together we are creating new urban infrastructure for charging multiple electric cars that is smart, cost-efficient and charges based on the individual mobility demand of the drivers. This is our contribution to the sustainable transport system of the future. Our award-winning charging technology Aqueduct is a smart combination of hardware and software – a true IoT product!
For bringing our product to the next level we are looking for a motivated quality & test engineer with IoT background as a part of our tech team in our Munich Office. You will be fully responsible for our IQC and OQC.
Your future job
- Ensure product quality, both in development and production as quality engineer

- Work out guidelines and support our contract manufacturers with technical product expertise
- Inspect quality of sub-components where needed
- Evaluate new suppliers
- Propose product and process improvements
- Test proposed improvements with our internal production & dev team
- Manage IQC and OQC
- Whenever required, support development team: Test new product iterations & features, Perform product life-cycle qualification, Quality checks for new features & parts
- Work in an awesome environment with a great team
What we look for
- Quality is your passion, improving products and processes makes you get up every morning
- 2+ years of relevant job experience with a product in series production stage
- Relevant degree or training in an engineering field (Mechanical, mechatronical, electrical, industrial)
- Fluent in English & German spoken and written - both at least C1
- Drivers license - you will visit contract manufacturers
- Personal accountability and pride in your work
- Enthusiastic communication with different stakeholders - our suppliers, production partners and the team
- Extraordinary passion for bringing an outstanding product to reality one task at a time
Nice to have
Relevant (job-) experience in:
- Previous work experience with hybrid physical / digital products "IoT"
- Mass produced electronics product in your portfolio
