Our team has developed a biologically-inspired and proprietary audio processing technology that knows how well you hear in order to personalize your listening experience and prevent hearing damage. Mimi’s technology can be integrated into consumer electronics devices, such as headphones, smartphones, TVs, in-flight entertainment systems and a range of systems and platforms.
To help us bring amazing hearing technology to more people around the world, we are looking for a
Senior Embedded Engineer for full-time employment in Berlin.
As our
Senior Embedded Engineer, you will…
- Write and adapt C wrapper code for our processing library to run on various SoC and DSP platforms using proprietary SDKs
- Drive the testing and validation of integrations with hardware in the loop
- Support our customers and partners in integrating Mimi and assist in verifying compliance with our quality standards
- Learn new DSP architectures and port our reference implementations
What you bring to the table
- Significant experience in embedded systems programming with DSP chips in C/C++
- Ability to write easy-to-understand code examples and documentation that can be understood by our customers
- Professional working experience with real-time code for embedded systems
- Basic understanding of audio processing
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with the Qualcomm QCC or Tensilica Hifi platforms
- Experience with Bluetooth and inter-device communication
- Experience working with DSP algorithms and/or in the Audio domain
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE
In 3 months: You support your teammates in their projects and have a general understanding of our technology.
In 6 months: You work on your own projects, improving existing products and supporting integration into partner hardware.
In 1 year: You have a detailed understanding of our technology, drive new porting projects to new platforms yourself, and support your team on challenging technical solutions.
