Cozero is a Berlin-based ClimateTech startup that transforms every company into a low-emission business. Therefore we developed our Climate Action Platform, a SaaS solution, widely used by multinational companies in more than 50 countries for now, which helps companies to find the most economical way to minimize their environmental impact and enable them to effectively decarbonize. It’s a fully digital end-to-end Carbon Action Platform (CAP) to track, forecast, and manage corporate emission data and match them to low-emission solutions to reduce their carbon footprint. We are just getting started at Cozero and you could be an elementary part of one of the fastest growing Climate Tech Startups in Europe, with critical responsibility and influence on product and overall venture development. Therefore our Cozero Team is hiring a Senior HR Business Partner (f/m/d). Within this role you are shaping the HR department in all aspects: HR Management, Recruiting and HR Operations. You will work closely with our Founder team and the Cozero team in general. You should be a HR Generalist which has experience in ramping up a HR department, setting up processes and structures.

  • Recruiting: You are responsible for the recruitment services at Cozero and you identify the best talent for our tech, sales, marketing and climate departments. You run the recruitment processes in total - go to person for candidates and hiring managers, train our interviewers internally etc.
  • Employer Branding: You transform Cozero as one of the hottest employer branding brands in the B2B SaaS tech space. You create awareness about our company and build networks in the climate and sustainability sector. We want to attract and hire the best talent.
  • HR Management: As a HRBP you are responsible for our HR landscape - including feedback processes, career development plans, developing & maintaining employee benefits, developing our on/offboarding sessions, especially in our hybrid work organization and conducting periodic feedback meetings to ensure employee satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • HR Operations: You are the go to person for all administrative HR related topics, e.g. Payroll, contracts etc.
  • Culture & Engagement: As our HR CoHero, you build and shape our culture and engage people around you about our values, mission and vision. You could highly identify with climate sustainability topics and cultural people topics in general.


  • You have 5 years of experience in HR Management & Recruiting, especially in a dynamic, fast growing organization in the B2B Startup ecosystem. Ideally you built up a HR department from scratch before.
  • You are a HR Generalist - HR Management experience and Recruiting is highly appreciated - we are offering a green field to work on with fantastic fundamentals which are already set up.
  • Great sense of ownership over your projects, despite a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work structured & independently in a fast-paced international team environment
  • Bias for taking responsibility - bias for action. You have a track record of doing whatever it takes to get things done. You have accomplished things that others thought were impossible. You are ceaselessly creative and impactful.
  • Strong professional networks within the recruiting market for tech and climate talent is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
