ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is one of the leading certification systems for sustainability, traceability and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. More than 5.000 companies in over 100 countries worldwide use the ISCC System. ISCC covers all sustainable feedstocks, including agricultural and forestry biomass, circular materials and renewables. As a no-deforestation standard with a strong commitment to protect forests, high-carbon stock lands and biodiversity, ISCC strives for a world where biomass and other raw materials are produced in an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable manner. 

At ISCC we are a close team of highly motivated, supportive and committed young professionals with a multitude of backgrounds. Due to the continued growth, we are looking for at least one more Sustainability Support Manager to support our Sustainability Certification Team. If you feel we are a fit, we are looking forward to welcoming you in our team at the ISCC head office in Cologne.

Your Tasks
  • You will be the first point of contact for our certification system users and other stakeholders such as certification bodies
  • You will efficiently manage inquiries by system users via email, phone or video-call
  • To enable a standardized and smooth system user experience you will create and optimize FAQs, text modules and best practice documentation
  • You will define and monitor KPIs to evaluate the support process
  • You will design and initiate measures to continuously improve our system user support processes
  • You will support ongoing projects, including topics like biofuels, agroforestry, waste & residue management etc.

Your Profile
  • University degree in business management, economics, law, environmental or sustainability studies, or similar
  • Proven professional experience in high-level customer support
  • Very strong presentation skills as well as the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and to prepare professional presentations according to target group
  • Excellent communication skills in an international environment with stakeholders at all levels combined with a calm and supportive attitude
  • Excellent language skills in German and English (both written and spoken), additional language skills will be of advantage
  • Excellent research and copy-writing skills
  • General IT proficiency and very good working knowledge in databases and MS Office
  • A high degree of initiative and very good 
    decision-making ability combined with an independent working style and pragmatic, hands-on attitude
  • Willingness to contribute to the continuous improvement process and to drive change
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
