Intro

The Team Lead - Build & Release position at Native Instruments is an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Manager in Tech to lead a group of CI/CD Engineers in Berlin and Boston. As part of the leadership team in the Build & Release division, you will be responsible for building highly available and scalable systems and empowering product teams to release, improve and expand the company's portfolio of products and services for musicians, music producers and DJs across the globe. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding the professional and technical development of your team members, aligning with software development teams, and working out best practices and guidelines for build workflows, version control, and automated testing. The ideal candidate should have experience in continuous improvement and agile software delivery processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering others. Aufgaben

  • Lead and align a group of talented and motivated engineers across Berlin and Boston
  • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team members
  • Support us in aligning with Software Development teams and working out best practices and guidelines for e.g. build workflows, version control or automated testing
  • Help develop and evangelize great engineering practices across the global teams
  • Align and collaborate closely with our Product Managers and Tech Leads to ensure a high performing cross-functional team
  • Facilitate collaboration, communication and support decision-making within the teams
  • Help plan and form teams that are collaborative, inclusive, and respectful
  • Work with our Talent Acquisition team to attract, onboard and retain engineers from diverse backgrounds

Anforderungen

  • Experience as a People Manager in Tech, leading, coaching and mentoring Engineers
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about design, implementation and operation of cloud and on-premise infrastructure, distributed systems and services
  • Experience with continuous improvement and agile software delivery processes
  • Excellent English communication skills, German is a plus
