At our Garching-based Entrepreneurship Research Institute (ERI), scientists from a variety of disciplines contribute to the groundbreaking work on how firms and individuals may introduce new technologies into the world through innovation and entrepreneurship. Student Assistant
(Wissenschaftliche / Studentische Hilfskraft)
for our Impact Winter School
(15-20 hours per week)
The goal of the impact winter school is to enable students to develop practice-oriented solutions to reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals by using technologies of the future, with this year’s focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Its main component will be a 5-day hackathon in January 2023.
Primary Tasks:
- Internal and external partner management
- Management of external communication channels including social media
- Support in monitoring and evaluation
- General support in organizing and realizing the Impact Winter School, e.g. administration, accounting, data management, communication with participants
Prerequisites
- Bachelor or Master degree
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) and basic knowledge of German (reading and understanding)
- Sound Microsoft Office skills, good knowledge in current digital tools
- Willingness to work flexible hours and to work independently and reliably
